FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does it hurt?

I use a prenumb cream and a numbing gel throughout the procedure. As long as you're not allergic to lidocaine you should be fine. Most clients feel little to none.

How long does it take to heal?

The healing process for brows takes approximately 2 weeks for your skin to heal. However, for the pigment to fully bloom takes anywhere to 6-8 weeks. I typically like to schedule the touchups after the 6 week mark.

Lipblush healing is approximately 1 week for the lips to heal. The pigment will bloom approximately 5-6 weeks after procedure to see final results.

* It's always good to be mindful of any special events you have or travel and plan your schedule accordingly.

Permanent Makeup is a process, touchups are included in the initial price.

Are they necessary?

To achieve desired results, yes. it's highly recommended to perfect the desired result. Any minor adjustments in color or shape are done at this time too. Some clients can take up to 3 sessions to achieve desired results but typically 2 sessions do the trick. Everyone has a different constitution and retention and proper aftercare all have a part in desired outcome.

NOTE: Coverups are treated differently and often take multiple sessions. Coverups are a treated case by case.

How long does an appointment take?

Initial appointments will take approximately 3 hours. I do not like to rush the process and take like to take time consulting with each client on desired shape, color, outcome, and aftercare instructions. The second appointment for your touchup will not be as long.

How long will it last?

The treatment does fade after 1 - 3 years depending on a couple of factors such as your skin and lifestyle. Touchups are necessary if you would like to maintain the look. If you have oily skin, are out in the sun a lot, in the water often, your tattoo will fade faster than others. Also, if your desired look is something a little bolder than your probably going to get your touchup sooner than others.
